The Crossing honors the legacy of the most influential choral conductor of our time, a legacy which lives on strongly in our lives and our art following his passing on March 1. Turning to music that recalls our history and his, we sing works of Gavin Bryars, Samuel Barber, Herbert Howells, Ēriks Ešenvalds, Michael Gilbertson, and world premiere of Robert Convery, written in memory of Joe.
