The Crossing @ Christmas 2011 was performed to a sold-out St. Paul’s Church and a tradition was born. The Philadelphia Inquirer called it “mesmerizing” and noted the warmth of the candlelit atmosphere – singers and audience shared in a uniquely beautiful holiday event. Join us this season for a program of the greatest contemporary music inspired by the Nativity, including Crossing favorites Eriks Esenvalds, Bo Holten, and Gabriel Jackson, with John Tavener’s Mother and Child as its centerpiece.
